The New Classics.

Here at Parlour and Juke we are inspired by what we love. We love the tried and true...we love classic style, with a twist. 

They don't call it Music City for nothing.

Well, we couldn't let this week slip by without talking about what a kick-ass time we had at Soundland.
It is amazing how many people still are unfamiliar with this awesome four day long festival that takes place right here in Nashville. Many people know it as it's former name, Next Big Nashville, but man, has this once little festival grown!
If you missed it, be sure to keep and eye out for it next year when we bet it will be even more big, bad, and beautiful.

Hello All! Sorry for the long hiatus but here we are ,back in full swing. We will be posting weekly now so keep your eyes peeled for things that inspire us, motivate us, and that we just plan ol' love. 

This week we celebrate all the hairspray-ed, cat eyed glory that are girl groups of the 1960's.  It's best not to talk about it and just enjoy the scenery.

Every act I see, their whole act is choreographed. I'm sick of seeing these dancers. The only reason they have them is they don't have enough talent to get people dancing themselves.
